App: Muzylo (iOS and Android: App Store, Google Play, RuStore) and the web app at app.muzylo.tech. Developer: Muzylo. This page explains how to delete your Muzylo account and the data linked to it.
How to delete your account
In the app
Open the Account tab, tap Delete account and confirm. If you sign in with Apple, your iPhone asks you to confirm with Apple once more so we can revoke Muzylo's access at Apple.
On the web
Sign in to the web app at app.muzylo.tech, open Account → Delete account, type the confirmation word and press "Delete account". The account is deleted right away.
Confirming the deletion
- If deleting the account closes an organisation you own and you signed in more than 15 minutes ago, we first email a 6-digit code to your address. Enter it to confirm that it's you.
- If an app store bills an organisation being closed, we ask you to confirm that you know the store keeps charging until you cancel the subscription there.
- When the account is deleted, we email a confirmation to its address.
By email
If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address of your account with the subject "Delete my account". A member of our support team handles these requests by hand: we reply to that address to confirm the request comes from the account holder and, once confirmed, delete the account and its data as described below, within the time the law allows and no later than 30 days. If you can sign in, deleting the account yourself is faster.
An account lives in the region where it was created. This site, muzylo.tech, serves venues outside Russia. If your account is on muzylo.ru, delete it there or email [email protected].
Cancel a store subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store, Google Play or RuStore: the store bills it, and only you can cancel it. Cancel it before you delete the account:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Muzylo → Cancel Subscription. App Store
- Android: Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Muzylo → Cancel subscription. Google Play
- RuStore: open the RuStore app → Profile → Subscriptions → Muzylo → cancel. RuStore
A subscription paid on the web (YooKassa or Paddle) is ended by us when its organisation is deleted, and it doesn't renew. For questions about the unused part of a paid period, write to support before you delete.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name and email address are removed from it and you are signed out on every device. Your sign-in sessions are deleted with their IP addresses and user agents.
- Your sign-in methods: email sign-in and any linked Apple, Google or VK ID sign-in. If you used Sign in with Apple, we also ask Apple to revoke Muzylo's access.
- Your access to every organisation you are a member of.
- Every organisation where you are the only owner is closed and deleted with its venues, zones, schedules, station settings, reference features, brand profile, announcements and team access. Its players are disconnected and stop playing, and its playback history and compliance certificates are deleted with it, apart from the evidence record for licensing claims described under what is kept, so download any playback report you need first. A subscription paid on the web ends with it at once and doesn't renew.
- Product analytics events recorded under your account id (such as sign-up, setup steps and subscription changes). muzylo.ru uses no third-party analytics service.
Organisations that have another owner keep working: only your access ends.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records of the organisations that are closed (invoices, amounts, dates, payment and store transaction ids, and the organisation name, legal name, tax id and country they were issued to): for organisations in Russia until 1 January of the sixth year after the year of payment (Russian Federal Law 402-FZ on accounting), elsewhere until 1 January of the eleventh year after it. Then they are deleted.
- Evidence for licensing claims about the organisations that are closed, stored under internal ids only, without names, email addresses, IP addresses, devices or anything you typed: which Muzylo tracks played in which venue and zone, when, in which country and under which rights record, kept for 400 days from each play, as for a venue that is still open; and the rights records of the organisations' own tracks and the status and dates of their compliance certificates, kept for 3 years from the deletion (the general limitation period for claims, for example under Article 196 of the Russian Civil Code). We keep it on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering claims by collecting societies such as RAO and VOIS about the time Muzylo covered the venue, and use it for nothing else. Then it is deleted. A check of a closed organisation's certificate (its QR code) shows it as revoked.
- Content you created in organisations that keep running (for example schedules or announcements) and the record of your actions there stay with that organisation, no longer linked to your name or email.
- Messages you sent to support, for as long as needed to handle them and meet legal obligations.
- Database backups are not edited: deleted data leaves them as the backups expire on their regular schedule.
For muzylo.tech customers (organisations outside Russia) a payment made in 2026 is kept until 1 January 2037, which covers the tax and accounting periods of the countries of sale (up to 10 years in many EU countries). Reference audio is never kept longer than 24 hours anyway. Tracks in the shared Muzylo catalog stay in the catalog: they contain no personal data.
Delete only some data
An owner can revoke a team member's access under Team without deleting the account. To delete other data, such as a venue, email [email protected]. More about how we handle data is in the privacy policy.
